It was a life sentence the unanimous punishment of justice for Roula Pispirigou who had earlier been unanimously found guilty of manslaughter against her first-born daughter Georgina.
Judges and juries were not convinced that the accused is innocent and found her guilty for the heinous act against her child.
The fact that did not request recognition of mitigating factors made the imposition of life imprisonment the only way by law, since in order not to impose this heaviest penalty, a necessary condition is the recognition of at least one mitigating factor.
On April 5, Roula Pispirigou will be back in court as her trial continues in a different court for the case of the death of her two youngest children, Malena and Iris.
