Is he taking it personally? If you watched The Roast of Tom Brady, you might be wondering what Tom Brady actually said to Jeff Ross. The comedian made a joke about the Super Bowl champion’s relationship with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Jeff Ross was one of the first people introduced to roast Brady in the unedited and live roast hosted by Kevin Hart. He said, “Tom became a Patriot and moved up to New England, and on the first day of training camp, that scrawny rookie famously walked into the owner Robert Kraft’s office and said, ‘I’m the best decision your organization has ever made. Would you like a massage?’” The comedian then blew a kiss in Robert Kraft’s direction.

At the roast, Tom Brady was visibly upset in his seat, came up and murmured in Ross’ ear, “Don’t say that shit again.”

Later, Ross, who is Jewish, said on stage, “OK, OK. He’s having fun, look at him. I love what you do for the Jews, Robert Kraft. You’re incredible.”

In 2019, Robert Kraft was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution, days after police alleged surveillance video had caught Kraft during two visits to the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida. Kraft pleaded not guilty but issued a public apology for his actions. The charges were later dropped due to a lack of evidence, however, the four women involved reached plea deals with prosecutors and had to pay thousands of dollars in fines and fees.

Brady was drafted by the New England Patriots, and played with the team as their star quarterback for 20 seasons from 2000 to early 2020. In March 2020, the day before his contract with the Patriots expired, Brady announced that he would not be resigning his contract with the Boston-based team. Instead, Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with whom he played at the Super Bowl for the first time in February 2021. Brady retired in 2023.
