The DTM is back! The 23rd edition of the motorsport championship starts at the end of May this year. The drivers and teams complete a total of 16 races this season. Who will be crowned DTM Champion 2023?
The DTM contests the season opener this year on May 27th in Oschersleben. The DTM is making guest appearances at a total of eight racetracks this year, with two races taking place on each race weekend this season. The season finale in the DTM takes place on October 22 at the Hockenheimring.
A total of 30 drivers and 14 teams will start in the 2023 DTM season. Among others, the ex-champions René Rast and Marco Wittmann will be there. BMW driver Sheldon van der Linde starts the new season as the defending champion. The young South African will start in 2023 for the Schubert Motorsport team, which won the team classification last year. In addition to BMW, Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes and Porsche are represented as manufacturers this season.

You can follow this season’s DTM races live on free TV. ProSieben has secured the broadcasting rights to the motorsport championship in 2023. As in the previous year, the private broadcaster will show all races live and in full length on TV. For the ProSiebenteam also includes Andrea Kaiser, Matthias Killing and commentator Eddie Mielke in 2023.
