There’s no doubt that Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins are one of WWE’s power couples. Both ruled their respective divisions in the wrestling industry, and they started dating, had a baby, and got married on June 29, 2021.
Meanwhile, some fans use Becky Lynch to insult him, but it does not affect Seth Rollins as he laughs out loud at those insults.
In a recent podcast, Becky Lynch, whose real name is Rebecca Quin, spoke about all those things and showered huge praise for her husband. She commented on those who use her name to lash out at Rollins.
Becky Lynch Speaks On People Using Her To Insult Seth Rollins
Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, the power couple are both set for their matches at WrestleMania 40, with Lynch challenging Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship and Rollins defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre.
Meanwhile, during a recent appearance on the Barely Famous podcast, Lynch discussed how people used her previous nickname “The Man” to insult Seth Rollins. She used this nickname from 2018 to 2020, but when she returned to the ring in 2021, she started to use the nickname “Big Time Becks.”
While sharing her thoughts on fans targetting her husband for this, Lynch said:
“You say how sometimes the male ego might have a problem with supporting a woman that is rising and doing things. That’s one of those things where, in wrestling, it’s almost eye rolly at this stage. They’ll always come at him and they’ll say stuff like, ‘Your wife is the man. You’re wearing your wife’s clothes.’” (Via Frightful)
She continued, “He always laughs. ‘Oh, cool, my wife is rad. That’s not an insult.’ To have somebody who is that supportive and comfortable, I’m so lucky.”
Their career peaked in 2019 when Rollins would beat Brock Lesnar to become the Universal Champion at WrestleMania 35, and Lynch beat Charlotte and Ronda Rousey became both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Becky Lynch Opens Up About Their Romance
Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins made history at WrestleMania 35, and following that, their relationship gained much attention within the wrestling community. The couple welcomed their daughter, Roux, into their lives in 2020. Their chemistry was visible in their public appearances and social media interactions.
Reflecting on their connection in an interview with ET, Lynch said:
“I feel like there was always a deep connection with him. Like, there was always a bond. He used to tease me, but in a way that was so loving. I’d always run up to him and I’d tell him these stupid jokes and he’d tell me I was the worst and then we’d go our separate ways. But I would always look forward to seeing him so much.”
“He was the person, if we had a joint pay-per-view [event], that I would look forward to seeing the most,” she continued. “I just loved hanging around with him.“
She said that they both are very passionate about the sport and they love wrestling.
“We think about wrestling, we love wrestling, we’re always so there for each other, and we understand. We’re always there to help each other with ideas, so it’s become the greatest relationship in every way possible because we understand each other so much,” she said. “And then he’s just the best father and the best husband.”
“He is an incredible father. He is so patient, and he’s so good at playing, and he explains things,” she added.
On the other hand, Rollins, while speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, also stated how cathartic of an impact Becky Lynch had on his life as his wife and gave credit to his wife for what he has achieved in the last five years.
