The Political Secretariat and the Political Office of the Faction, in today’s meeting on the subject of the Elections for the nomination of the new members of the European Parliament, on the 9her June 2024, unanimously decided to recommend the following nominations for approval to the Political Council:
- ANTHOPOULOU THEMIS – Aristindin
- ELFTHERIOU MARIOS – Executive of the Limassol DIPA District Committee & Municipal Councilor of Kato Polemidion
- KLEANTHOUS MARINOS – Vice President of DIPA & Municipal Councilor of Aglantzia
- PANTELIS POET – Aristindin
- TRYFONIDIS ALEKOS – Parliamentary Representative of DIPA & Member of Parliament of Nicosia
- CHARALAMPIDIS MARIOS – Aristindin
The staffing of the ballot has a purely European profile and aims to renew persons, policies and the functioning of the institutions.
It is a multi-collective ballot, covering all spectrums of society, its interests and challenges, representing the creative and productive forces of the country. It combines political experience, modern knowledge and expertise, while at the same time reflecting the values ​​and ideals that we stand for as a Democratic Party.
It consists of dynamic personalities, with a recognized offer, qualified and recognized professionally and socially. People with a significant presence and offering to the public, with proven sensitivities.
Both DIPA-Cooperation and the European Liberal Democrats are working for a Europe based on freedom, justice and equality. We envision a Europe where there is solidarity between countries and where European citizens live safely and prosper.
Our proposal to the Cypriot society brings together all the features that will encourage our creative and productive participation in the European Parliament.
