Three wounded is the account of the armed attack by an unknown person who opened fire on Thursday morning against several vehicles, including a school, near Jericho in the occupied West Bank.
“A terrorist fired at several vehicles near the town of al-Awza,” about ten kilometers north of the Palestinian city of Jericho, Israel’s military said in a statement.

In a more serious condition is a 30-year-old who was injured by the unknown gunfire, while a 21-year-old and a 13-year-old are more lightly injured.
According to Israeli state radio, the attacker, who was wearing a hood and carrying a semi-automatic weapon, began shooting shortly after 7 a.m. at the vehicles.
The Israeli army immediately sent reinforcements to the scene and closed all roads while they search for the attacker.
