High school sports roundup (Jan. 25) – Baltimore Sun

Here’s a roundup of high school varsity action from Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Indian Creek 56, Friends 38: The host Eagles (12-13, 3-9 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association B Conference) beat the Quakers (10-8, 6-3). Indian Creek was led by Aiden Evans with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Will Frost with 13 points and Kyndall Crawford with seven points and nine rebounds.

Severn 55, Archbishop Curley 49: Jacob Randall scored 17 points and Mason Ervin and Kingston Price each had 11 points to lead the host Admirals (11-5, 8-4 MIAA B Conference) over the Friars (10-12, 7-5). Kamren Hayes had 11 points and Kemori Collins had 10 points for Curley.

Pikesville 66, Milford Mill 46: Blake Neverdon and Jaden McCormick each topped 20 points in the win.

Glenelg 43, Oakland Mills 37: Chukwuemeka Orji scored a game-high 15 points, but the Scorpions fell to the host Gladiators. Glenelg used a 16-5 run in the fourth quarter to win.

Long Reach 56, Centennial 50: Both RJ Barnes Jr. and Christian Dean scored 15 points to lead the Lightning (11-2) in the win. Ethan Maokhamphiou also had nine for Long Reach. Tyler Longwell led Centennial (7-7) with 16 points as Charlie Crabtree also scored in double figures with 12.

Hereford 67, Woodlawn 20: Lauren Kraft scored a game-high 23 points to lead the visiting Bulls (7-2) past the Warriors. Other top scorers for Hereford included Lauren Orner (12 points) and Megan Hess (10 points).

Centennial 49, Long Reach 30: The visiting Eagles (3-9) beat the Lightning (1-10). The win halted a three-game slide.

Glenelg 56, Oakland Mills 32: The Gladiators (8-5) won their second game in a row as Reese Holden scored a team-high 14 points and Nia Stewart added 12. Lauren LaPointe also finished in double figures with 11. For Oakland Mills (8-5), Chloe Grenway scored a team-high 10 points.

Mt. Hebron 49, Atholton 35: The Vikings (6-5) moved back over .500 as Pearl Prasartkarnka scored a team and season-high 19 points. Katherine Millen and Iva Damyanova both added eight points for Mt. Hebron. Kendi Caldwell scored 12 points to lead Atholton (6-7).

Century 37, Winters Mill 28: Mia Graff led the win with 14 points, one of three Knights scoring in double figures. Mackenzie Mowder scored 11 with Harli Hamlett right behind her with 10.
